AMKSS National Day Parade 2018

This year’s AMKSS NDP Parade 2018 was held on 8th August 2018. Below is 2 recounts from 2 of our cadets:
“When we were training for NDP, I felt that I have to put in all my effort as it was going to be my last NDP in AMKSS. There were a few problems when training but we continued to improve. During the actual parade, I felt pressured but also rewarding as the school was cheering for us. When the parade ended, I felt satisfied since we have shown everyone the performance that we have been training for.”

“I feel that the NDP was enjoyable and successful. There were fewer or no mistakes made during the actual parade than during trainings. To perform in this year’s parade, we had to go through tough and vigorous trainings. Despite that, we did not complain and managed to perform in the parade this year, representing AMKSS NPCC unit. During trainings, teachers and officers were strict towards us. However, that improved the standards of our drills. All in all, I think these practices had been worthwhile for us to put up a great parade in front of the whole school. I feel that the NDP gave me a sense of accomplishment and has taught me resilience.”
