On June 13 , 11 of our NPCC cadets participate in the NPCC Sentosa Outreach Programme. This event aims to raise awareness on protecting their valuables by spreading messages through our cadets to the public . They are reminded not to leave their valuables unattended while they are having fun . This is an effort made as a part of crime prevention . Furthermore , it's also our NPCC mission - To fight crime and keep Singapore safe ! Although Singapore has a relatively low crime rate , but low crime doesn't mean no crime , we should not take it for granted and should stay vigilant at all times. This is indeed an enriching experience for our cadets!

We met many different types of people. Some of them were willing to listen to us patiently while some declined us as they thought that we were selling tissue packets. The instructors told us it is a common situation we will face and reassured us. We pressed on and cheered for one another along the way. To us , it was a wonderful experience. Face-to-face interaction could be more effective than putting up crime prevention posters. We learnt how to engage the public to advise them on the importance of securing their belongings and valuables while they are out enjoying themselves. Also, we become more confident with ourselves. Everyone’s hard work paid off. Good job everyone!
